BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Parents- This is where you come for a no stress birthday party… where all you have to do is show up and relax while kids simply get to be kids. Enjoy, well, enjoying your child’s party! Invest in memories- they don’t require batteries, they never break and best yet- are never left on the floor to be stepped on in the middle of the night.
What ages are good for these parties? All ages. From toddlers to teenagers- there is something for everyone here.
Parents of birthday kiddo are required to stay during the party, additional parents are always welcome to stay - and for younger kid parties that is what I would recommend! Water is provided inside BMK, and hot water for coffee and tea can be provided upon request.
Party Packages
Parents: You will fill out a waiver upon purchasing the party. You are then responsible for sending all who are invited the link to this page for them to fill out the waiver as well.

Details You Need to Know (Applies to All Parties)
Supervision: Parents are expected to stay and supervise their children throughout the party.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms are located inside Becky’s Mindful Kitchen. There are no bathrooms in the timber or treehouse area.
Animals & Outdoor Play: All onsite parties include time with our goats and chickens and access to the treehouse and outdoor adventure areas.
Food & Drinks: Water is always provided. Ice cream is included with the 2-hour and 2.5-hour parties only. Families are welcome to bring additional food, drinks, or a birthday cake if they choose. Hot water for coffee and tea for parents is available upon request.
Weather: Parties are held rain or shine. Please dress kids for the weather and outdoor play. In cases of severe weather, we’ll communicate any necessary adjustments.
Shoes & Clothing: Kids should wear shoes suitable for outdoor play in timber and with animals. Clothes should be comfortable and okay to get dirty.
Waivers: All participants must have a completed waiver on file before the party begins. Waiver can be found HERE
Arrival: Please do not arrive more than 15min before party start time as I am often still working to set up for it. Parents can drop off kids at the drop off sign or circle around and park as shown in the diagram below.
Refunds/Cancellation/Payment:
Payment is required after confirming date and party package with Becky. A $10 transaction fee will be applied to refunds up to 4 weeks prior to party date. After 4 weeks, no refunds are guaranteed, however rescheduling is possible without any fee. If there is weather that makes traveling unsafe, a reschedule is guaranteed. If Becky cancels due to any reason, a full refund including transaction fee will be offered as well as rescheduling.
RSVP & Additional Costs/ Add-ons
All party packages include up to 12 children. Final RSVPs are due one week prior to the party, and that number is what planning is based on and what you are financially responsible for, even if fewer children attend. If additional children arrive beyond that number, they are welcome to join as long as space allows, and the additional child fee will apply.
If additional children attend beyond that number, the following rates apply:
Farm & Fun, Farm & Treehouse, and BMK Classic: $20 per additional child
Deluxe Birthday Party: $25 per additional child
Payment for any additional children can be handled the day of the party via Venmo, check, or cash.
Siblings
Family matters to me, and my goal is to make birthday parties as easy as possible for parents. That includes preventing the common tension of siblings taking up spots meant for friends.
Up to 2 siblings are welcome at no charge for all party options to attend.
For Farm & Fun, Farm & Treehouse, and BMK Classic, siblings do not count toward the child total
For the Deluxe Party, siblings are welcome to attend at no charge, but siblings who participate in the guided activity do count toward the total number of children, as materials and instruction are planned per participant
Ice cream is included with BMK Classic and Deluxe Party, these include 2 ice creams for birthday parents and/or siblings. (Additional ice cream can be purchased if needed.)
Additional snacks and/or party favors: Snacks and party favors can be added. $7/kid is the starting cost, but can increase based on customization.

Weekend dates do fill up quickly, but there are times when I have cancelations so if you are organizing a last minute party- don’t hesitate to reach out! Parties are available all days of the week and evenings.
DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
Becky’s Mindful Kitchen is located at 4139 Crosheck Rd NE, Solon, IA
You will turn right onto Crosheck which is 1 mile after turning onto Anchorage Rd. Then take your FIRST left at the big red barn and go down the drive to the white house.
The house at the top of the hill is our awesome neighbor and I ask that you do not block their driveway or park in the apron. The play structure is also on their property and is off limits and please do not walk on their lawn.
Zero parking allowed on the street.
There is a sign that says 'Drop Here and circle drive' what that means is if you need to drop off a kiddo- that’s your spot! If you want to park or plan on staying for an event, circle around and pull up to the "Park Here" sign facing up the drive on the righthand side.
Do not park in front of the house at bottom of drive UNLESS your group consists of no more than 4 cars.
There is room for two cars to pass each other on the driveway. The entrance to BMK around the back of the home. Follow the path past the goat cottage to the back deck.
